Suzy is a Consultant BCN with extensive experience in nurse led breast symptom assessment, family history assessment, and support throughout the breast cancer patient pathway. She has published on breast referral triage, breast pain and breast screening surveillance and teaches at MSc level with St George’s University. Suzy is a NICE Fellow (2020-2022), Nurse Co-Lead for the ABS Aspire Steering Group and Nurse representative for the ABS MDT Toolkit Working Group. She is a passionate patient advocate with a strong interest in compassionate healthcare practice, human factors, reducing unwarranted variation, co-production and translating policy into practice to improve patient outcomes.
