Cheryl trained as a physiotherapist and has worked in Lymphoedema since 2004. She is a qualified MLD teacher and completed her Doctorate in 2021. She initially started working primarily with people diagnosed with Breast Cancer seeing them before surgery and then aiding them through rehabilitation post-op with a view of reducing their risk of lymphoedema. Her current remit is to assess patient’s suitability for lymphoedema surgery by providing comprehensive lymphoedema assessment and ICG fluoroscopy scanning. Furthermore, she provides specialist support within all Lymphoedema Services across Wales for people with complex lymphoedema presentations or those with poor response to standard treatment.
